Description
This is an original, issued M1 Carbine rifle stock magazine pouch, from the early-to-mid 1940's. This belt pouch comes from the estate of a WWII and Korean War USMC veteran, this pouch coming from, and likely seeing action in the former conflict. The pouch is made for holding two M1 Carbine magazines, and attaching onto the stock of the M1 Carbine via the extra layer of canvas and internal snap. There is evidence of a ink stencil on the back of the pouch, which would have likely mentioned the maker and manufacture date, but unfortunately the writing is completely illegible. No magazines included. Measurements: Height: 5.5 in Width: 4.75 in Good vintage condition. Fading throughout. Some illegible marks on the back, likely from issue. Some minor scuffing to the hardware. See photos for more details. Sold as-is. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to request more photos. Thanks!
